RAWALPINDI: The Rawalpindi Development Authority (RDA) has stepped up its efforts against illegal housing schemes in the area to accelerate the ongoing operation.
As a result of the RDA’s significant operation against violators of rules, action was taken against three illegal housing schemes.
These schemes include Islamabad Marina City Mouza Garbal, Pakistan Employees Cooperative Housing Society Mouza Mohri Khatran and Garbal, and Seven Enclave Housing Society at Mauza Garbal Fateh Jang Road.
As per details, the site offices of the illegal housing schemes were demolished in the operation.
Moreover, the enforcement squad has been taking strict action against illegal housing schemes, with notices issued to the owners of these schemes.
Furthermore, previously the booking offices, billboards, and main gates of Cighu Farmhouse Housing Scheme, mouza Chak Cighu, Royal Ghar Housing Scheme, mouza Pariyal, Chak Beli Khan Road, and New Iqra City/Iqra Residencia, mouza Chakri, Jorian Rawat Road were also demolished.
According to an RDA spokesman, the authority aims to take strict action against those who violate the rules to ensure the protection of citizens’ interests.
The spokesman added that the RDA is committed to ensuring the development of legal and approved housing schemes in the area, and those who do not follow the regulations will face the consequences.
With these ongoing efforts, the RDA is working towards creating a safe and secure living environment for the citizens of Rawalpindi.
