Completion of Bus Rapid Transit Project Peshawar to take more time

Peshawar: The Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) Project started in October 2017 has now been extended until December 2019. A date of completion has not yet been announced by the provincial government.

The BRT Project is expected to take several months until operational. Around 85 percent work on the bus stations is complete while the building of Intelligence Ticketing System control room will reach completion by the end of October 2019. The ITS control room at Chamkani will be handed over to Trans Peshawar by October who will require two more months until their system installations, said Director General PDA Engr Muhammad Uzair. Civil work for three buildings will take a few more months.

The payment orders have been looked into and payments issuance will be expedited and worked on in minimal time.
