Islamabad: Chairman Capital Development Authority (CDA) and Chief Commissioner of Islamabad, Captain (Retired) Anwar-ul-Haq, paid a visit to PIMS Hospital on Monday. On this occasion, the Executive Director of PIMS Hospital and pediatric department doctors were also present.
During the visit, Chairman CDA Captain (Retired) Anwar-ul-Haq stated that the purpose of this tour is to further enhance the pediatric section of CDA Hospital. He emphasized the importance of leveraging the experiences from PIMS’ pediatric section to strengthen the pediatric section at CDA Hospital with modern facilities. He expressed his desire to improve the entire hospital, especially the pediatric section.
Chairman CDA and Chief Commissioner of Islamabad, Captain (Retired) Anwar-ul-Haq, further mentioned that the CDA aims to run the pediatric section on a sustainable model, ensuring financial self-sufficiency. Initially, the CDA will provide funding, but eventually, they plan to operate the institution in a way that it can generate its own funds.
He added that recommendations for this plan will be formulated promptly. On this occasion, the PIMS Hospital administration assured that they are always ready to provide facilities of this kind at CDA Hospital.
Later, Chairman CDA and Chief Commissioner of Islamabad, Captain (Retired) Anwar-ul-Haq, also conducted a comprehensive tour of the children’s hospital at PIMS and reviewed various units in detail.
