ISLAMABAD: In a meeting chaired by Deputy Chairman Planning Commission, Mohammad Jehanzeb Khan of Central Development Working Party (CDWP), the meeting gave a nod to three development projects worth Rs13bn.
According to the details, the projects include the Punjab Tourism for Economic Growth Project (PTEGP) at Rs8.52bn which includes laying down a network of roads for connecting the major tourism sites in the province.
Moreover, the working party also moved the Kharian-Rawalpindi motorway project worth Rs108.5bn to the Executive Committee of the National Economic Council (ECNEC) for consideration.
The meeting also included the Secretary Planning and other officials of the Planning Commission.
