Islamabad, Pakistan – In a significant step towards digital transformation, the Capital Development Authority (CDA) has announced the launch of an online building plan approval system. The system, which was discussed in a meeting chaired by CDA Chairman Muhammad Ali Randhawa, will streamline the process of obtaining approvals for both residential and commercial projects.
The online platform will enable citizens to submit and track their building plan applications from anywhere in the world. By eliminating the need for physical visits to CDA offices, the system aims to reduce bureaucratic delays and improve efficiency. Additionally, architects will also be required to register on the platform.
To ensure a smooth transition, CDA has directed that its officers and staff receive comprehensive training on the new system. Furthermore, the necessary IT infrastructure will be provided to facilitate its operation.
Chairman Randhawa emphasized CDA’s commitment to providing citizen-centric services. “We are working tirelessly to bring all related services to the doorstep of Islamabad residents,” he stated. As part of this initiative, CDA is also developing a super app that will offer over 150 services, further enhancing convenience for citizens.
