ISLAMABAD: The Capital Development Authority (CDA) has launched an operation to curb encroachments and illegal constructions in Sector F-11 of the city.
During the operation, 36 structures, including 12 shops and seven four-wall constructions, were demolished on government land.
The purpose of the operation is to eradicate encroachments on the land allocated for sectors and complete the remaining development work after removing illegal constructions.
The operation is being carried out under the guidance of CDA Chairman Noor Ul Amin Mengal, overseeing the operation with the help of the Enforcement Directorate, Land and Rehabilitation Department, Islamabad Administration, and Islamabad Police.
This is not the first time the CDA has conducted such an operation.
A similar operation was conducted in Sector C-13 before, and just yesterday, another operation was carried out in Park Enclave against illegal occupants.
The aim is to free up land allocated for sectors from encroachers and complete the development work necessary for the city’s betterment.
