ISLAMABAD, 9th May 2024– CDA land records are getting a digital makeover! In response to directives from Interior Minister Syed Mohsin Naqvi, Chairman CDA Muhammad Ali Randhawa and his team collaborated with the Punjab Information Technology Board (PITB) for a strategic discussion.
The primary focus of this partnership is to integrate the digitalisation of CDA’s land records in the Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT). A recent meeting between the two entities involved crafting a comprehensive plan, from assessing the current records state to identifying the most effective technological solutions. The team also addressed potential challenges and established a clear project completion timeline.
Beyond digitalisation, the collaboration aims to strengthen the CDA’s IT directorate by addressing human resource needs. Discussions also explored innovative approaches to diversify revenue streams, which are crucial for the project’s sustainability.
This initiative promises a more efficient and tech-savvy CDA and hints at potential services for external stakeholders. With this digital transformation, Islamabad’s land records will be more accessible and secure.
