According to the details, the Movement Park is being developed to highlight the sacrifices of the people at the time of the creation of Pakistan.

The civic authority will also initiate a plantation drive in the vicinity of the park, informed Director Environment, CDA.

He was also of the view that native saplings will replace the paper mulberry trees which will also help to mitigate the concentration of pollen in Islamabad.

The plantation of new trees is also a response to the call of environmentalists for planting native trees in Islamabad.
