The CDA has issued a tender for the Model Forestry Park in Malpur to purchase a drone camera with cutting-edge equipment at a cost of Rs6.8 million as a pilot project.

According to a press release issued by CDA, the deployment of drones will allow for the surveillance of encroachments in the forest, allowing for swift action against the encroachers. It would also prevent illegal logging and forest fires.

Likewise, the camera will aid in determining the species of wildlife that may be found in Islamabad’s forests, as well as migratory wildlife.
