Islamabad: Actions are being taken in Islamabad city against encroachments and illegal constructions on the directives of the Chairman of the Capital Development Authority. In this regard, the Building Control Section, in collaboration with the Enforcement Directorate, local administration, and Islamabad Police, conducted a robust operation on Thursday in Jeddah Town and Aghosh Society, demolishing multiple buildings that were in violation of building by-laws.
According to details, a strict action was taken against building violations in Jeddah Town, where 10 buildings, and in Aghosh Society, one building that was constructed without approval from the Capital Development Authority, were demolished. Notices have also been issued to the owners.
The operation against encroachments and buildings constructed in violation of building by-laws will continue in the city. It is noteworthy that for the past several months, the federal capital has been actively conducting operations against unauthorized encroachments, illegal constructions, and building violations.
