The crackdown on building by-law violations along the Expressway led to the closure of five buildings that had been constructed without the necessary approval from the CDA, with official notices issued to their owners. Additionally, in the private housing societies of Sector F-17, 13 building owners received notices for non-conforming use of their properties.

CDA authorities underscored their commitment to the ongoing campaign aimed at purging Islamabad of encroachments, illegal structures, and building by-law infractions, with the ultimate goal of establishing the city as a model of cleanliness and compliance.

It’s noteworthy that over the past several months, the CDA has actively conducted operations to curb unauthorized encroachments and address issues related to illegal constructions and building by-law violations in the federal capital.
