ISLAMABAD: The Capital Development Authority (CDA) has recently conducted an anti-encroachment operation which retrieved nearly 2,000 plots worth more than Rs 50 billion from the qabza mafia in Sectors C-13, C-14, C-15, C-16, and Park Enclave III.
The operation aimed to remove illegal occupants and reclaim the land for genuine owners.
According to the officials of CDA, Sectors C-14 and C-15, as well as the other sectors located along Margalla Avenue, possess excellent commercial prospects for both the civic agency and other interested parties.
Chairman of CDA, Noor ul Amin Mengal, took to Twitter to share the success of the operation.
The CDA has urged the general public to avoid purchasing plots from illegal land grabbers to avoid financial losses and legal complications.
The anti-encroachment operation has been lauded by residents and stakeholders, who have commended the authorities for their efforts to reclaim the city’s land from illegal occupants.
