CDA puts a bar over naming housing societies after public departments

ISLAMABAD: In order to remove the confusion regarding the housing societies, Chairman Capital Development Authority (CDA) has informed that civic authority bar over naming housing societies after the public departments.

According to the details, the chairman was also of the view that existing housing societies that have been named after the housing societies will have to change their names.

The registrar of housing societies has been advised to issue notices to the societies operating under the names of public departments.

Earlier, Islamabad High Court had also given directives.
