The proposed road would stretch from a famous restaurant to Bari Imam. However, it has raised questions about its influence on the natural environment.

As per details, the CDA’s Planning and Engineering Wings will scrutinize the proposal before presenting it to the Development Working Party (DWP) for approval.

Margalla Hills National Park has already suffered from the adverse effects of road construction, highways, and housing societies, which have endangered the natural environment.

Furthermore, the park has also been contaminated with garbage by visitors who engage in recreational activities, posing a threat to the health and well-being of the park’s wildlife.

While the proposal for the new road is still under review, officials have emphasized that a decision will only be made after a comprehensive assessment of the proposal’s potential impact on the park’s ecosystem.

This is particularly important given the park’s ecological significance and the importance of preserving its natural habitat.
