CDA posts surplus of Rs73bn in ongoing financial year: PM

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister (PM) Imran Khan today (Friday) has informed that the Capital Development Authority (CDA) has posted a surplus of Rs73bn in the ongoing financial year.

Taking on Twitter, the PM stated that the CDA has made a major turnaround in its financial revenues as it had posted a deficit of Rs5.8bn in 2017. 

The PM attributed the increase in CDA revenue to the successful construction policies of the government.

Furthermore, PM Imran Khan also felicitated the entire department of CDA on the achievement.

Highlighting the financial stability of CDA, the PM was of the view that it is the right time to turn Islamabad into a model city.
