Islamabad: The Capital Development Authority (CDA) witnessed robust participation on the second day of its plot auction, garnering significant success. Thus far, a total of 5 plots have been successfully sold, generating revenues exceeding 11.141 billion Pakistani Rupees. The auction of these plots is set to continue until January 12, taking place at the Gandhara Citizen Center, F-9 Park, Islamabad.
In the latest developments, a Diplomatic Enclave apartment plot was successfully auctioned for an impressive sum of 3.44 billion Pakistani Rupees on the second day. This public auction showcases a diverse range of commercial plots in Islamabad’s prime development commercial centers, presenting lucrative investment opportunities.
Overseeing this auction is the Auction Committee, led by a CDA member in charge of finance, with the Secretary Director of State Management-II. The committee comprises members specializing in Estate, Planning and Design, Technology Digitization, DFA-II, DG Land, Director Urban Planning, Director Regional Planning, Director Public Relations, and Director Finance.
It is essential to note that the committee has implemented effective measures to ensure transparency and competitiveness in the public auction. As a result, investors are actively engaging, submitting competitive bids, and securing plots based on their preferences.
Following a comprehensive examination, the received bids will be presented before the CDA board. The board will then make informed decisions on whether to accept or reject the bids, acting as the authorized forum for such determinations after a thorough investigation.
