ISLAMABAD: The Capital Development Authority Development Working Party (CDADWP), on Wednesday, in the 52nd meeting approved development schemes worth Rs24.268 billion for Islamabad – the federal capital.
CDA Chairman Aamir Ali Ahmed chaired the meeting, while representatives from Planning Commission and Ministry of Interior were in attendance along with CDA board members.
As per sources, the projects approved included construction of parking plazas at several commercial places worth Rs7200 million, development of Sector D-12 worth Rs1804 million, Sector E-11 signal free chowk worth Rs1472 million, conservation of Margalla Hills National Park worth Rs5000 million, rainwater harvesting system worth Rs125 million, provision of 100 beds facility in CDA hospital worth Rs186 million, Bara Kahu traffic plan worth Rs193 million and many more.
