CDA okays eight development projects

ISLAMABAD: The 53rd meeting of the Capital Development Authority’s (CDA) Development Working Party (DWP) convened on Tuesday in which eight developments projects were given approval.

The meeting was chaired by Chairman CDA, Amer Ali Ahmed in which PC-I and PC-II of eight projects were given a go-ahead.

According to the details, the working party has approved the Islamabad Bus Service which will run on various routes in Islamabad. The project will be completed by February 2022.

In order to improve sanitation and public health, the development authority also approved the construction of 115 public toilets in the capital at a cost of Rs40mn.

Similarly, the development authority has also okayed the purchase of machinery for increasing the capacity of the relevant departments.
