ISLAMABAD: The Capital Development Authority (CDA) has initiated the uplift project to carry out landscaping work on the Srinagar Highway, under the Clean and Green Pakistan programme.
The project was initiated by the Environment Directorate, and its outputs include road safety requirements, plantation drives, and earthworks. The civic body has already planted around 2000 saplings on the Srinagar Highway, and further plans include planting evergreen plants for the beautification of the capital.
To restore the beauty of the Srinagar Highway, the authority will regularly monitor the landscaping efforts and ensure the utilisation of resources and timely completion of tasks.
