Islamabad: In response to the directives of the Capital Development Authority (CDA), rapid progress is underway to enhance road infrastructure in Islamabad. This will ensure continual improvement in civic amenities for residents.
Under the guidance of the CDA Chairman, multiple projects are swiftly progressing to further enhance the road infrastructure in the city. CDA aims to continually improve the facilities provided to the citizens.
As part of this endeavor, a new footpath is being constructed in Sector I-8 of Islamabad, at a cost of Rs. 14 million. Tenders have been published in newspapers, and upon careful scrutiny of received bids, construction of the footpath will commence promptly.
On this occasion, the CDA Chairman instructed officials from relevant departments to expedite the maintenance of existing footpaths, ensuring their swift restoration to active use by the public. Additionally, wherever necessary, new footpaths will be constructed to provide citizens with every possible convenience.
Furthermore, the construction of these footpaths will not only promote pedestrian culture in the city but also result in a significant reduction in carbon emissions and footprints.
