Islamabad: The Capital Development Authority (CDA) is taking significant steps to further enhance the beauty and greenery of Islamabad city.
In this regard, the Chairman of the Capital Development Authority (CDA) has directed the Environment Wing to plant various types of fruit-bearing and flowering trees at different locations across the city during the spring season.
Similarly, in the tree plantation campaign, residents’ societies and volunteers are to be specially included to ensure maximum participation in tree planting. Additionally, monitoring of the planted trees will also be ensured through geotagging to digitally monitor the conservation of the planted trees.
During this occasion, the Chairman CDA emphasized the importance of tree plantation and issued directives for the establishment of more nurseries in the city.
