Islamabad: CDA Design Works Planning meeting, chaired by Chairman CDA Noor ul Amin Mengal, has approved multiple developmental projects for the city. The meeting, attended by officers from the Planning Commission, CDA Board Members, and officials from concerned departments, discussed various proposals.
One of the key projects presented during the meeting was the PC-I of Sector C-13. This sector, situated in one of the most picturesque locations of Islamabad, will feature high-rise building apartments. The planning for Sector C-13 has been meticulously done, taking into consideration the natural beauty of the area. The PC-I for Sector C-13 has been approved, with an estimated cost of Rs. 1078 million.
Additionally, the PC-I for Sector D-13, worth Rs. 10249 million, was also given the green light. Sector D-13 comprises a total of 5468 plots. Furthermore, the PC-I for Sector E-13, consisting of 4034 plots, was approved during the meeting.
Sector F-13’s PC-I was also among the projects approved. This sector will consist of 5342 plots and will require an estimated cost of Rs. 12676 million.
The meeting also focused on the infrastructure and development of Orchard Height Park. The construction cost of this project, estimated at Rs. 1.07 billion, was approved, with the PC-I of Orchard Height Park receiving the go-ahead. The total cost for the completion of this project is estimated to be Rs. 1773 million.
Participants of the meeting were briefed about the alignment of the road passing through Sectors C-13, C-14, C-15, C-16, and D-12 in the Extension of Margalla Avenue N-5 to the M-1 project. The alignment of the road was approved, with an estimated cost of Rs. 2930 million.
In addition, the project for the construction of 11th Avenue from F-10/F-11 to Col. Sher Khan was approved. The PC-I for the construction of a multi-purpose citizens club in F-10, including a building with one hundred and ten guest rooms and parking allocation on two floors, received approval with an estimated cost of Rs. 2298 million.
The construction of the National Bus Terminal, which is set to cost Rs. 4252 million, was also approved during the meeting.
