Islamabad: Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi visited Margalla Enclave on Monday to assess the ongoing development of the residential project, a collaboration between the Capital Development Authority (CDA) and the Defense Housing Authority (DHA).
The project spans 10,000 kanals of CDA land in the Kuri area, with an agreement allocating 55% of developed plots to CDA and 45% to DHA. DHA has invited applications for plot allotments, with balloting scheduled after the February 14, 2025, deadline. The scheme features plots ranging from 5 marlas to 1 kanal, with a lake planned as part of the development.
During the visit, Naqvi instructed authorities to accelerate construction, ensure optimal resource utilization, and develop a new road connecting to Margalla Enclave. He emphasized that travel time from the Prime Minister’s residence should not exceed five minutes.
It was also decided that half of the development work would be completed by August 14, while the entire project is set to be finalized by December 31 before possession is granted. Meanwhile, CDA is preparing to auction its share of plots in the coming months.
With its strategic location, modern infrastructure, and high investment potential, Margalla Enclave is drawing significant interest. Interested buyers can apply online before February 14, 2025.
