ISLAMABAD: The newly formed Capital Development Authority (CDA) board, on Wednesday, decided to make Islamabad a tourist-friendly city with special importance given to the national culture in a meeting held at the Secretariat.
According to the officials, a facilitation center will be made in order to promote tourism in the city. Tourists will also be directed towards the existing facilities in Islamabad with significance given to the historical attractions.
As per the details, the existing libraries in the capital will be made functional in a bid to promote the book-reading culture.
Furthermore, steps will be taken to organise cultural shows in order to bring the national culture to light.
