Islamabad: Chairman Capital Development Authority (CDA), Captain (Retired) Anwar-ul-Haq, is taking swift action to rid the city of Islamabad of encroachments and illegal constructions. In line with his directives, the Building Control Directorate, in collaboration with the Enforcement Directorate and Islamabad Police, conducted a rigorous operation on Tuesday against building bylaws violations on Islamabad Expressway, resulting in the sealing of multiple commercial buildings.
In the crackdown against violations on Islamabad Expressway, 5 buildings that were constructed without CDA approval have been sealed, and notices have been issued to the owners. This is part of ongoing efforts to make Islamabad a city free from encroachments.
It is worth noting that for the past several months, CDA has been actively engaged in operations against unauthorized encroachments, illegal constructions, and building bylaws violations in the federal capital. The anti-encroachment campaign continues as Islamabad aims to become a clean and compliant city.
