ISLAMABAD: The Capital Development Authority (CDA), on Tuesday, announced that for the first time in the country’s history, it would conduct a public hearing for over 100 allottees of cancelled plots.
The announcement was made by CDA Chairman Captain (r) Noor ul Amin Mengal, who presided over a public hearing held at the Jinnah Convention Centre, accompanied by officials from the legal wing.
During the hearing, Chairman Mengal emphasized the need to address the grievances of individuals whose plots were cancelled from 1993 onwards.
He further expressed zero tolerance towards officers who obstructed the proper disposal of legitimate cases.
He declared that cases of previous allottees whose properties were cancelled would be reviewed every first week of the month.
