ISLAMABAD: The Environment Wing of the Capital Development Authority (CDA) has set up five small parks in various sub-sectors and one big park in the markaz of Sector D-12, announced CDA Director Environment (West) Akhtar Rasool.
All nine parks in the sector are fully developed. He further added, with setting up jogging tracks, benches, installing new swings in six new parks, the authority completed work in three other parks earlier.
The Environment Wing is also working to develop parks in different sectors including three parks in sector I-14, and one at sector I-16, on the directives of CDA Chairman Amer Ahmed Ali, under the initiative to revamp and beautify the city.
