Islamabad: Capital Development Authority (CDA) with the Islamabad Administration cleared off encroachments from Malpur, Murree Road on Wednesday.

80 kanals of state land was retrieved after demolition of illegal constructions during the anti-encroachment operation. This includes 12 residential houses, 35 rooms, 12 kitchens, 13 boundary walls and 12 bathrooms. An additional 15 kanals of state land was also retrieved.

In the last three days, CDA has retrieved a total of 205 kanals of state land.

The CDA Building Control Section has further demolished 26 newly constructed shops in regards to their violation of building rules and regulations in sector E-11.
