Islamabad—The Capital Development Authority (CDA) Board held its 10th meeting on Tuesday, chaired by Chairman Muhammad Ali Randhawa. A key decision was the approval to hire a consultant to oversee the establishment of a Safari Park in Islamabad. The selection process will adhere to Public Procurement Regulatory Authority (PPRA) Rule 42F.
To generate additional revenue, the board also approved an increase in fees for the change of trade, sub-division, and amalgamation of industrial plots. These adjustments, the first since 2005, aim to align fees with current market values.
In a bid to streamline operations, the CDA Board authorized the creation of a Project Management Unit. This dedicated team will oversee the implementation of various CDA initiatives. The board further instructed officials to compile a list of industrial plots misused without proper authorization.
