ISLAMABAD: The Design Vetting Committee (DVC) of the Capital Development Authority (CDA) has approved plans for the construction of six commercial buildings all across the city.
According to a press release issued on Thursday, officers of the Planning Wing and other concerned departments were also present at the meeting.
Plans for seven buildings were initially presented. These included building plans of plot no. 17 in Diplomatic Enclave, located in sector G-5; plot no. 1 in Blue Area; plot no. 6-C in F-10 markaz; plot no. 64 in sector H-11/4; the construction of a mosque on plot no. 11 in G-11/3; and the building of a school on plot no. 578 (Block B) in Gulberg Greens.
However, the approval of the seventh building design (plot no. 15 in Blue Area) is still pending as the architect was unable to attend the meeting.
