CDA approves consultant’s bid for airport metro bus project

ISLAMABAD: Capital Development Authority (CDA) board on Thursday approved the consultant’s bid for the airport metro bus project.

According to the details, a bid worth Rs36mn has been approved by the board and the project will be constructed on Islamabad and Rawalpindi Metro Bus route from Peshawar Mor to Islamabad International Airport (IIA).

The firm will also be responsible to supervise the construction activities of the projects and it will complete the project in eight months.

As per the media reports, the major components of the project have already been completed.

The consultant will be responsible for preparing bidding documents, procurement of buses, ticketing system, and operation and system management.
