ISLAMABAD: The Capital Development Authority (CDA) and Graana.com, Pakistan’s 1st real estate marketplace, have organised a three-day Literary Festival in Islamabad to celebrate Pakistani literature and culture.
The Islamabad Literary Festival 2023 is being launched on Friday, March 17, 2023 at F-9 Park. The literary festival will continue for 3 days from March 17 to Mar 19, 2023.
For the first time in its history, the Literary Festival has been divided into two different parts for the entertainment of the public. Various programs have been organized on all three days of the literary festival, including poetry, panel discussions, cultural dance, and musical night etc.
Eminent poets including Iftikhar Arif, Anwar Saoor, Khurshid Rizvi, Fawad Hasan Fawad, and Ehsan Akbar will participate in the Mushaira (poetry), which is set to be a significant highlight of the festival.
A panel discussion on the topic of Pakistani languages is also a part of the literary festival, aimed at promoting literature, culture and art.
Various partners like Graana.com and CDA are to sponsor all expenses incurred on the Literary Festival.
In addition to the Literary Festival, Jashan Bahara will also be organized in Islamabad by Chairman CDA.
The Literary Festival promises to be a fun-filled event, and it is hoped that it will help to promote Pakistani culture and literature.
