LAHORE: Central Business District Punjab (CBD Punjab), also known as Lahore Central Business District Development Authority (LCBDDA), gets approval for the construction of 750-feet high buildings from the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA).
As per a press statement issued on Monday, CBD Punjab said getting the approval of an iconic height was a significant achievement.
The authority said Lahore Prime comprised 12 mixed commercial plots, out of which five plots were auctioned in September 2021.
Before the current approval, buildings were allowed up to 500 ft.
According to details, the CAA conducted an advanced aeronautical study with the support of the Pakistan Air Force (PAF).
All the possibilities and constraints were pondered and analysed for practical implementation of the tall buildings to be built in CBD Punjab.
It is pertinent to state that the CAA has ensured the protocols of flight operations while giving the provision for the construction of skyscrapers.
CEO LCBDDA, Imran Amin, said, “Approval of 750 ft height is the epitome of grandeur in the city’s real estate sector. Central Business District Punjab has ensured another step closer to Prime Minister Imran Khan’s dream of giving Pakistan its first business district.”
