ISLAMABAD: To align the Islamabad Highway with modern standards, the Capital Development Authority (CDA) has decided to uplift Islamabad Highway and Kashmir Highway under PC-1.
The task of improving the corridors that lead to the capital city has been assigned to the Director Road South, who will plan the feasibility of the project under PC-1.
The report to be prepared will be a plan to upkeep the areas for three years initially.
The developments to be introduced on the roads leading to the city will also include improving and beautifying the horticulture of the green areas adjacent to these roads.
The report will be scrutinised by the relevant authorities after being presented in the upcoming CDA-DWP meeting along with interchange for Rawal Dam Chowk.
