ISLAMABAD: The provincial government of Balochistan has initiated development work on two Special Economic Zones (SEZs) in Hub and Bostan areas of the province.
According to the details, the government has allocated Rs2.5bn for the development of the Bostan economic zone.
On the occasion, the official of the provincial government informed that the government is providing basic infrastructure facilities including water supply, electricity, and gas and communication network, for the facilitation of the investors.
Furthermore, the official added that the government has also launched the services of issuing investor-friendly visas to foreign investors.
The government is developing the SEZs under public-private partnership and has exempted custom duties on industrial machinery and plants to be established in economic zones for one year.
