History of NUML

In 1969, the National University of Modern Languages (NUML) was established as an institute with the goal of promoting communication and understanding among people who speak different languages and come from diverse cultures. Initially, it focused on providing language training to military and government personnel in Pakistan.

However, on May 29, 2000, it was upgraded to a fully autonomous university. This achievement was the result of its dedication to providing education in emerging disciplines and promoting the exchange of new ideas.
