Tanker Services

As a PNSC subsidiary, National Tanker Company (NTC) was founded in 1981 and has since moved approximately 87.9 MT of crude oil via its tanker “JOHAR” and other contracted ships. It then amalgamated with PNSC in 2003 and went out of business.

Since it began tanker operations in 1998, PNSC has transported approximately 120 million tonnes of crude and fuel oil, or 12 million tonnes yearly. PNSC currently runs two LR-I Product Tankers with a capacity of 74,000 DWT and five contemporary double-hull Aframax tankers with a capacity of 107,000 DWT. These ships operate a shuttle service for Pakistan’s oil industry between MEG ports.
