Significance of the Project

The improvement and rehabilitation of Multan Road Lahore from Thokar Niaz to Scheme Morr brought significant relief to the city’s residents. The project resolved the traffic and drainage issues and provided a more comfortable and safer commute for commuters.

Before the project, the road was congested, causing major traffic jams, especially during rush hours. Moreover, the drainage system was inadequate, causing severe waterlogging during heavy rains. This caused inconvenience to the commuters and posed a serious health hazard due to the breeding of mosquitoes and other insects.

However, the road has become more spacious after the project, with multiple lanes to accommodate the traffic. The improved drainage system has also ensured that the road remains free of waterlogging even during heavy rains.
