The decision was reached in a meeting between Chairman ABAD Mohsin Sheikhani and Sindh Secretary for Local Government in Sindh Secretariat. The two parties decided that the Sindh Government will notify a three-member committee comprising members from local government, ABAD and Sindh Building Control Authority (SBCA). The Committee will meet regularly and draw up monthly reports of progress with recommendations and send it to the provincial government for implementation.

The Committee will recommend fast track approval of construction plans to effectively counter and stop illegal constructions by illegitimate contractors working outside the guidelines and approval of SBCA. A recommendation for procuring the much needed foreign investment was also made. The recommendation focused on the cleanliness of the city which will enhance the ease of living and invite investments in the construction industry. The committee will also target the elements responsible for illegal constructions. The ABAD will also ensure that all the members of the association will not spread construction material and allot dump sites beforehand.
