History

Opened on June 15, 2018, Askari Amusement Park is Karachi’s inaugural amusement park, featuring a notable 61-metre-high Ferris wheel named the Karachi Eye.

Commonly referred to as Askari Island of Fun, the amusement park provides an array of indoor games and rides catering to both children and adults. Additionally, it boasts an expansive food court housing well-known food chains and a diverse selection of food and beverages. The park also extends its services to include wheelchair facilities for individuals with disabilities.

Administered by the Karachi Metropolitan Corporation, Barrister Murtaza Wahab renamed the former Askari Park to Kashmir Park.

  • Continue straight on Airport Road until you reach the Karsaz Flyover.
  • Take the flyover and continue on Shahrah-e-Faisal.

  • At Millennium Mall, take a right turn onto Rashid Minhas Road.
  • Continue on Rashid Minhas Road until you reach the destination – Askari Park.

  • Head northwest on Khayaban-e-Iqbal/Dolmen Mall Clifton toward Beach Avenue.
  • Turn right onto Beach Avenue.
  • Continue on Beach Avenue, and then turn left onto Do Talwar.
  • Continue straight on Shahrah-e-Firdousi.
  • Turn left onto Shahrah-e-Quaideen.
  • Continue on Shahrah-e-Quaideen until you reach the NIPA Flyover.
  • Take the flyover and continue on Rashid Minhas Road.
  • Follow Rashid Minhas Road until you reach Askari Park.

  • Head southeast on Dr. Ziauddin Ahmed Road toward Saddar Parking Plaza.
  • Turn right onto Preedy Street.
  • Continue straight onto MA Jinnah Road.
  • Turn left onto Garden Road.
  • Continue on Garden Road until you reach the Nishtar Road.
  • Turn right onto Nishtar Road.
  • Continue on Nishtar Road, and then turn left onto Rashid Minhas Road.
