ISLAMABAD: While chairing a meeting of the Central Development Working Party (CDWP), Deputy Chairman Planning Commission Mohammad Jehanzeb Khan approved 6 development projects worth Rs61.24 billion.
Out of these, three projects worth Rs60.64bn were submitted to the Executive Committee of the National Economic Council (Ecnec) for approval.
The approved projects include establishing joint border markets at Gabd district in Gwadar – costing Rs226.585 million, at Mand district in Keh – costing Rs183.9 million and at Ghedhi district in Panjgur costing Rs184.5m.
The project is aimed at promoting trade between local people to support their livelihood.
