Rawalpindi: Forensic audit for commercial property and plazas has been completed. 25 percent to 30 percent of the buildings have been identified for paying less property tax than what applies.
Report prepared by a four member team over three days will be presented to Secretary and Director General Excise Punjab.
On directives of Provincial Government, supervised by Excise Enforcement Head Quarter Director Mushtaq Afridi, the audit team has completed survey of all four zones of Rawalpindi.
Action against respective officers is expected to be taken by DG Excise Punjab, once the report will be received.
