150 acre Special Technology Zone Authority to be established in Islamabad

ISLAMABAD: The Special Technology Zone Authority (STZA) spreading on 150 acres of land, is set to be established in Islamabad.
The project is aimed at boosting the IT sector, as the government approved the transfer of the land worth Rs2.2 billion, identified by the Capital Development Authority (CDA).

The payment for the land will be made in equal annual instalments, over a period of five years, two years after the date of taking over possession.

One Special Technology Zones (STZs) is to be established in Islamabad, Lahore, Haripur, Karachi and Quetta, each apart from setting up zones across the nation.
